Gismap

Gismap is a Danish AI-powered GIS platform that maps urban nature and outdoor areas for biodiversity ESG reporting, enabling property owners, developers, and municipalities to perform land cover analysis and calculate biodiversity scores including the UrbanBioScore developed by Aarhus University. The platform integrates GIS mapping with biodiversity indicator registration in a single tool and offers a free tier for recording biodiversity data for DGNB certification. Gismap has absorbed the bynatur.app methodology previously distributed through Contech Lab, becoming the primary biodiversity data platform for the Danish built environment.
