Nordic Circles

Nordic Circles is a circular economy company that transforms decommissioned ships and offshore oil rigs into the world’s most environmentally friendly building materials — primarily structural steel — for use in new construction projects. The company has already completed an 8-floor building using upcycled construction steel and has a partnership with Höegh Autoliners to recycle up to eight ships in Norway. Nordic Circles targets the construction sector with a radical approach to lowering the embodied carbon footprint of new buildings.
